RESULTS FROM THE L’OREAL COLOUR TROPHY REGIONAL FINALS

You’ll be pleased to hear that Gordon was placed fourth in his category. ‘It was inspiring to be among other motivated and fashion-forward salon teams and individuals. To come fourth has definitely made me more determined to continue growing in my workplace and future progression in my career’ said Gordon. He has already vowed to go back fighting next year so watch out for his comeback!

Paula also did our hair salon in Elgin proud by being placed twelfth out of 31 salons. She is delighted with the outcome as this is her first competition and she will definitely be back next year. ‘What an experience it was doing the L’Oréal Colour Trophy. Although I have been at these stages before it was only assisting, so to be actually competing on the floor was such a buzz. I can’t wait for next year’s competition’ she said.

And as for Michelle, her big day will come on 9th May when she heads to Manchester for the Young Colourist award. The evening in Glasgow gave her a taster of what to expect though. ‘I had an amazing day in Glasgow for the L’Oréal Colour Trophy. It was so inspirational to be there and see other hairdressers doing their best, all the models looked fantastic and so fashionable. I was so nervous about being on stage but when I got up there I got such a rush of adrenaline and loved every minute of it. I can’t wait to go to Manchester!’

Well done to all three of them, they did us proud!
